With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Maria Victoria Navas, who was called to the presence of the Lord on March 22, 2025, in Providence, Rhode Island. She was born on March 24, 1949, in Honduras, C.A, and lived a life filled with love, faith, and service.

Maria Victoria was the beloved wife of Florentino de Jesús Navas, a loving mother to Marvin (RIP), Armida, Carlos, Ilsy, and Julio César, and a cherished mother-in-law to Hiram and Julisa. She was also a devoted and caring grandmother to her grandchildren: Stacy, Ashley, Raúl Jr., Zachary, Joshua, Carlos Jr., Danny, Sarah, Samantha, Angie, Césarito, and Mario. Her family was always her greatest joy and priority, and her unconditional love left an everlasting impact on each of them.

Daughter of Victoria and Manuel Sanabria (RIP), Maria Victoria was the sixth of twelve siblings: Alejandro (RIP), Carlos (RIP), Orfilia (RIP), Petrona, Telma, Cruz Alberto, Vicente (RIP), Mirtala, Olimpia, Elvia, and Alicia. She also had countless nieces and nephews, all of whom held a special place in her heart.

From a young age, she showed a deep love for God, becoming a woman of unwavering faith and total dedication to the Lord. As a devoted evangelist and intercessor, she dedicated her life to praying for others, preaching the word of God, and helping those in need. She never missed an opportunity to share her faith; she spoke about the Lord to anyone who sat beside her and evangelized to anyone who crossed her path.


The celebration of her life and faith will be held on Thursday, March 27, 2025 from 5pm-8pm in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave. Lincoln. Her funeral will be Friday, March 28, 2025 starting directly at North Burial Ground Cemetery, Providence at 10am.

Maria Victoria will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love, generosity, and devotion to God will live on forever in the hearts of her family and loved ones.



Con profundo dolor, anunciamos el fallecimiento de Maria Victoria Navas, quien fue llamada a la presencia del Señor el 22 de marzo de 2025 en Providence, Rhode Island. Nació el 24 de marzo de 1949 en Honduras, C.A, y vivió una vida llena de amor, fe y servicio.

Maria Victoria fue la amada esposa de Florentino de Jesús Navas, madre amorosa de Marvin (Q.E.P.D.), Armida, Carlos, Ilsy y Julio César, y una amada suegra de Hiram y Julisa. También fue una abuela dedicada y cariñosa para sus nietos: Stacy, Ashley, Raúl Jr., Zachary, Joshua, Carlos Jr., Danny, Sarah, Samantha, Angie, Césarito y Mario. Su familia siempre fue su mayor alegría y prioridad, y su amor incondicional dejó una huella imborrable en cada uno de ellos.

Hija de Victoria y Manuel Sanabria (Q.E.P.D.), Maria Victoria fue la sexta de doce hermanos: Alejandro (Q.E.P.D.), Carlos (Q.E.P.D.), Orfilia (Q.E.P.D.), Petrona, Telma, Cruz Alberto, Vicente (Q.E.P.D.), Mirtala, Olimpia, Elvia y Alicia. Además, tenía incontables sobrinos, quienes siempre ocuparon un lugar especial en su corazón.

Desde joven, mostró un profundo amor por Dios, convirtiéndose en una mujer de fe inquebrantable y entrega total al Señor. Como fiel evangelista e intercesora, dedicó su vida a interceder por otros, predicar la palabra de Dios y ayudar a quien lo necesitara. No perdía ninguna oportunidad para compartir su fe; le hablaba del Señor a todo aquel que se sentaba a su lado y evangelizaba a cualquiera que se cruzara en su camino.

La celebración de su vida y fe se llevará a cabo el Jueves 27 de Marzo de 2025, de 5:00pm-8:00pm, en la Funeraria Keefe, ubicada en Five Higginson Ave., Lincoln. Su funeral tendrá lugar el Viernes 28 de Marzo de 2025, comenzando directamente en el Cementerio North Burial Ground, Providence, a las 10:00am.

Maria Victoria será profundamente extrañada, pero su legado de amor, generosidad y devoción a Dios vivirá por siempre en los corazones de su familia y seres queridos.
